Step by Step Car Cleaning - Part 2
Step 1 - Polish
Polishing your paintwork has many benefits, including removing fine or heavy scratches, correcting faded paint, adding gloss and colour depth back to your aged or sun-damaged paintwork.
There are a couple of ways you can go about this - either good ol' fashioned hand polish, or modern day machine polish.
Depending on your preference, we have different polishes to suit.
Hand Polish - Yiannimize Instant Polish
Designed to be used by hand, the Instant Polish contains market leading abrasives to gently get rid off blemishes and marks on your paintwork.
Machine Polish - Yiannimize Light Cut Compound
Designed to be used by machine rotor, the Light Cut Compound is specially designed to work with the rotor and buff out your paintwork from scratches, correct fading paint and bring the life back to your exterior.
Step 2 - Protect
Protect your finely washed and polished paintwork from any further damage using ceramic coating. Follow this up with the trim protector.
So what is Ceramic Protection? Ceramic Protection is a ceramic coating applied to your cars exterior protecting the paint from external damage.
It’s formulated to create a hydrophobic layer on top of your paintwork - and it’s what leads to the desired water beading effect.
Ceramic coating will help protect your car from harmful sun-ray UV and prevent it from fading or dulling down. It’ll also help prevent your car from collecting and sticking to dirt - particularly during the rainy season as the hydrophobic layer will just bead off the water/dirt.
Step 3 - Finish
Once you’ve washed, polished and coated your car with a ceramic protector, it’s time to add the finishing touches.
Apply the tyre finish to give the wet look to your profiles and use the glass cleaner to get rid of any fingerprint marks and / or water marks left over from usage and washing.
After that, let’s move onto the Interior.
